🔼 Life In The Fast Lane. Good thing they don’t give speeding tickets on the track.

The App State women’s track & field squad had a dominant showing at the VMI Team Challenge on Saturday, bringing home nine individual first-place finishes en route to a first-place team finish with 230 points.

Highlighting the day on the track was junior Kendall Johnson, who reset the App State program record in the women's 60-meter prelims with a personal best of 7.39. Johnson set the previous program record of 7.42 at the 2025 Sun Belt Indoor Championships.

🔼 One Win Away. 60 minutes. That’s all that separates a pair of #AppStateNFL standouts from the Super Bowl.

Nick Hampton and the Los Angeles Rams won a thriller on Sunday night in Chicago to earn a spot to face off with the Seattle Seahawks, where fellow Mountaineer Shemar Jean Charles has been a member of the practice squad all season.

Hampton has tackles in both playoff games for the Rams, including this stop in the third quarter of Sunday’s game.

🔼 Turning Two. With the season just 25 days away, a pair of App State Baseball standouts were recognized prior to the 2026 campaign.

Graduate student Joseph Zamora and junior Kameron Miller were both named Preseason All-Sun Belt by Just BB Media.

Last season, Miller earned First Team All-Sun Belt accolades at the DH spot after posting a .305 average with 12 HRs, 50 RBI and seven doubles for the Mountaineers.

Zamora is coming off a season in which he hit .307 with eight doubles, two triples and three home runs, while also scoring 41 runs and driving in 34 RBI in his second season at App State.

In two seasons at App State, how many career HRs has Kameron Miller blasted for the Mountaineers?
