🔼 20 Days Away. The drive to five starts in just 20 days as the 2026-27 App State wrestling season is on the horizon.
The Mountaineers have plenty of reasons for optimism after sharing the 2025–26 SoCon regular-season championship and capturing their fourth consecutive conference tournament crown.
Under the leadership of longtime head coach JohnMark Bentley, App State returns all 10 starters from last year’s championship squad, which includes three NCAA qualifiers.
All 10 starters return, including three NCAA Championships qualifiers
The season officially begins November 1 at the Southeast Open in Salem, Virginia, with the home opener scheduled for November 15 at the Mountaineer Invitational.
🔼 Tundra Takedowns. #AppStateNFL standout D’Marco Jackson had his best performance of the year in one of the most historic rivalries in NFL history.
Playing in Green Bay, Jackson piled up four tackles in Chicago’s matchup with the Packers on Sunday. In the first five games of the 2026 season, the linebacker has 14 tackles and is now just 17 tackles away from reaching 100 for his NFL career.

For Chloe and Morgan Hook, it’s a lot been made a lot easier by having each other as the twins are now in their first season together with App State Field Hockey.
Chloe Hook currently leads App State Field Hockey with six goals this fall. How many of those have been game-winners for the Mountaineers?
