🔼 Defending Our Crowns. The reigning Sun Belt Cross Country champions will toe the line this morning in Foley, Ala., to defend their titles.

Coming off last fall, a season in which both App State Cross Country teams captured the titles, the Mountaineers will attempt to go for back-to-back sweeps this morning.

The women’s race will begin at 9:30 a.m. EST, followed by the men at 10:15 a.m.

🔼 Finishing Strong. A first-half strike from Ellie Garrison proved to be the difference as App State capped its season with a 1-0 victory over Georgia Southern on Wednesday night.

Garrison netted her fifth goal of the season in the 33rd minute, finishing off a pass from Reagan Sturgill to give the Mountaineers a lead they would not relinquish.

With the win, App State finished the season 7-7-3 overall, marking its third straight seven-win season for the first time since 2014-16.

🔼 Super Sophia. Make that four, please.

The honor follows an impressive weekend against Ball State and No. 6 Wake Forest, during which she scored her 12th goal of the season against the Cardinals and earned her third defensive save against the nationally ranked Demon Deacons.

🔼 Heading To Hickory. The App State men's basketball team will host the High Point Panthers in the second installment of the Hickory Hoops Classic on Dec. 14. This year's contest will be played at Lenoir-Rhyne's Shuford Memorial Arena.

Tickets for the Hickory Hoops Classic will be available on this timeline, as seat inventory remains. Parking will also be available to purchase but is limited in availability.
