🔼 Rollin’ On The Road. In the team's first game in the state of New Hampshire in program history, the App State men's basketball team rode a strong showing on offense to an 85-77 road victory over Dartmouth on Sunday.
The Mountaineers posted their best shooting effort of the season in the win as they buried 52.5 percent of their shots. Although they made just six 3-pointers in the game, the Mountaineers' ability to get into the lane was crucial as they scored 50 of their 85 points in the lane.
App State saw great outings from Kasen Jennings, Eren Banks, Alonzo Dodd and Luke Wilson, as all four players finished with at least 13 points. The Mountaineers hadn't seen four players each eclipse at least 13 points in the same game since Feb. 8, 2024, against Toledo.
🔼 Sunday Funday. The App State women's basketball team defeated Wofford, 77-50, to close out the Mountaineers' season-opening homestand on Sunday. The victory was punctuated by a beyond-half court heave from senior Emma Smith that beat the buzzer at the close of the third quarter.
Five Mountaineers netted double-figures, led by sophomore Jayden McBride, who accounted for 15 points. McBride and senior Emily Hege, who netted 11 points of her own, combined for six of App State's 10 treys on the afternoon. S
Smith registered the Mountaineers' first double-double of the season with 14 points and a team high 10 rebounds, in addition to dishing out seven assists. Fellow senior Elena Pericic scored 12 points and sophomore Feryal Defne Atli netted a career high 10 points and grabbed eight boards.

🔼 Battling The Best. App State Wrestling traveled north for a three-dual Sunday at the Mountaineer Quad and went 1-2 with a decisive victory against Glenville State sandwiched between losses to a talented Princeton team and 20th-ranked host West Virginia.
West Virginia had ranked wrestlers at six of 10 weights, and App State's four victories in the 31-12 team loss included a pair of ranked individual wins: Aldo Hernandez by a 4-2 count over No. 29 Jordan Titus at 141 pounds and No. 27 Kaden Keiser by a 7-3 decision over No. 15 Willie Dougald in the next match at 149 pounds.
🔼 Finishing Strong. Senior Maya Winterhoff capped off her App State Volleyball career with a team-high nine kills to lead the Mountaineers to a 3-0 sweep in the season finale on Saturday.
Classmate Addison Heidemann dished out 22 of App State’s 29 assists in the victory.
The Mountaineers wrap up their 2025 campaign with a 15-12 ledger.

In Sunday’s win at New Hampshire, Kasen Jennings poured in a team-high 21 points for the Mountaineers.
In his four games at App State, how many 20+ point games has Jennings registered?
