🔼 Senior Salutin’. No better way to send off the seniors than with a chance to play more game, right?

App State Football's regular season finale on Saturday against Arkansas State will be the final home game for a group of battle-tested and resilient seniors.

With kickoff set for 2:30 p.m. on Senior Day in Kidd Brewer Stadium, both App State and Arkansas State need a victory to become bowl eligible. The Mountaineers have earned bowl berths in eight of their first 10 seasons after becoming postseason-eligible in 2015, including an NCAA-record seven berths in the first seven seasons, and this is the program's debut season under the direction of first-time head coach Dowell Loggains.

Prior to kickoff, more than 20 Mountaineers are expected to be recognized as part of the Senior Day festivities.

🔼 Back On The Mats. After wrestling its first five duals away from home, App State hosts a dual for the first time this season on Sunday, when 10th-ranked NC State meets the Mountaineers in Varsity Gym.

App State opened its dual schedule by splitting against Navy (loss) and Hofstra (comeback win) in Pennsylvania before going 1-2 at the Mountaineer Quad in West Virginia, where App State took four of 10 matches against 18th-ranked WVU. App State lost to Princeton and beat Division II Glenville State.

The dual begins at 3 p.m., with doors opening at 2 p.m.

As we head into the Thanksgiving break, Director of Athletics Doug Gillin sits down to update the App State Family.

As we mentioned, App State will be aiming for the ninth bowl bid in 11 years since becoming bowl eligible in 2015.
