🏑 What A Year
🟡 And much more
🔼 Friday Night Fun. Coming off Monday’s thrilling season-opening win over Western Michigan, the App State Women’s Basketball team is back at home in the second of its four-game homestand to start the campaign.
Tonight, the Mountaineers welcome Bob Jones University into the Holmes Convocation Center for a 6:30 p.m. tip.
Fans who attended last night’s App State vs. Georgia Southern Football game can show their ticket from the game at the northwest and southwest doors of the Holmes Convocation Center to get into Friday's game free.

🔼 On The Line. This afternoon, in Huntington, W, Va., it’s all on the line for the App State Volleyball squad.
On Thursday, the Mountaineers swept their way past Marshall in dominating fashion to set up today’s winner-take-all for the East Division’s final spot in the Sun Belt Conference Tournament later this month.
In Thursday’s victory, senior Ali Morris led the way once again with 14 kills and enters today’s match just one kill shy of 1,000 career kills.

🔼 What A Year. A season in which the App State Field Hockey program tied a school record for wins (14) and earned the program’s first-ever national ranking came to a close on Thursday in the MAC Semifinals.
The Mountaineers dropped a hard-fought 4-1 decision to #14 UMass to finish the season 14-6 overall. It marks the third time in the past four seasons that App State has finished with 14 victories.

🔼 Feeling Golden. In the first home game of the 2025-26 season, the App State men's basketball team got out to a 13-0 start over the Carolina University Bruins and ran away with a 92-46 win on its home floor on Wednesday.
The Mountaineers led by as many as 56 points and kept the Bruins to just a 29.8 percent mark from the field in the game.
App State was paced by a career night from Luke Wilson, who tallied 14 points in just 16 minutes of action. The Mountaineers saw four players reach double figures in the game, as Kasen Jennings, Eren Banks and Michael Marcus Jr. each eclipsed 10 points.
Gold morning.

🔼 Just Short. App State Football rallied for three touchdowns over the final 20 minutes, with one more score necessary to complete a comeback win, but Georgia Southern was able to run out the clock in a 25-23 victory at Kidd Brewer Stadium on Thursday night.
Offensively, Jaden Barnes totaled 13 catches for 160 yards and a score, posting App State's highest reception total since Sean Price had 13 catches for 167 yards against Illinois State in 2012, and AJ Swann threw for 348 yards with two scores in his return to the starting lineup.
Defensively, Colton Phares delivered a big third-down sack to force a punt between App State's back-to-back touchdowns, and DJ Burks led the way with 12 tackles.

In Monday’s season-opening victory over Western Michigan, the Mountaineers knocked down nine 3-pointers.
How many of those came from the duo of senior Emily Hege and sophomore Jayden McBride?
Got a guess?
