🔼 Raising The Bar. In his sixth season in the NFL, #AppStateNFL standout Akeem Davis-Gaither is having a breakout party.
For the second time this season, Davis-Gaither racked up double-digit tackles, finishing with 10 and increasing his season total to 85. With five games left in the season, he has already set a single-season career-high.
Through his first 65 games in the NFL, Davis-Gaither reached double-digit tackles twice. In this past 18 (dating back to last year), he has tallied 10+ tackles five times.

🔼 Connect Four. App State Wrestling took four of 10 matches in a 21-14 loss to No. 10 NC State on Sunday, highlighted by Jarvis Little's ranked win at 133 pounds before the Mountaineers closed their first home dual of the season in a packed Varsity Gym with decisive victories from Tomas Brooker, Logan Eller and Stephan Monchery.
A crowd of nearly 1,000 created an energetic environment in the matchup between the Mountaineers (2-4) and Wolfpack (3-2). NC State had a ranked wrestler at each of the first seven weights, including five wrestlers with top-11 national rankings.

🔼 Fought Til The End. The 2025 App State Football season came to a heartbreaking end on Saturday as the Mountaineers dropped a tough 30-29 decision to Arkansas State.
JJ Kohl completed 26 of 39 passes for 271 yards, connecting with Sam Mbake and Dalton Stroman for touchdowns, while Jaquari Lewis rushed for 108 yards on 22 carries.
Seventh-year senior Kevin Abrams-Verwayne had 2.5 sacks among his career-high 10 tackles, and Colton Phares' leaping interception accounted for one of three takeaways by the App State defense. Brayshawn Littlejohn recovered a fumble on a misplayed fourth-down attempt from Arkansas State, and Kyle Arnholt recovered a second-half fumble forced by DJ Burks.
