🔼 Chart Climbers. The hottest team in the Sun Belt and one of the hottest in the country resides in Boone.

Currently on a six-game win streak and sitting just a half game back in the league standings, the App State Men’s Basketball team moved into the top-25 of this week’s College Insider Mid-Major poll.

It marks the third season of his seven-year tenure that Coach Kerns has led the Mountaineers into the top-25 of the poll.

Tonight, App State puts the win streak on the line when they travel to Statesboro for a 8 pm showdown with Georgia Southern.

🔼 Ladies Night. One of the best nights of the App Sate Women’s Basketball season is on the docket for tonight at the Holmes Convocation Center.

Tonight, the Mountaineers will host their annual National Girls & Women In Sports Day game, where they will celebrate and honor the achievements of so many females in the sports community.

🔼 Bling Bling. Who doesn’t love a little bling?

The App State Cross Country squads were honored for their 2025 Sun Belt Conference Championships over the weekend with their championship ring dinner to celebrate their achievements.

This past fall, the Mountaineers swept the championships on both the men’s and women’s side for the second straight season.  

This past weekend, the App State Softball squad posted its first tournament sweep since 2023 and is one of just 28 teams in the entire country to go undefeated on opening weekend.

The Mountaineers pounded out 38 hits in the four games, including five HRs.
