🔼 Four Of A Kind. The App State women’s track and field team used four podium finishes on Tuesday to claim a fourth-place finish on the final day of the Sun Belt Indoor Championships in Birmingham.

Highlighting the meet was a record-setting performance by the 4×400-meter relay squad and a gold medal finish by senior pole vaulter Ava Studney.

🔼 Senior Salutin’. Five seniors from the App State women’s basketball program will take the court at the Holmes Convocation Center for the final time this week as the Mountaineers get set to host the final two regular season games of the 2025-26 campaign.

Emma Smith, Elena Pericic, Emily Hege, Jada Burton and Zoe McCrary will be honored this week as App State welcomes Georgia Southern (tonight at 6:30 pm) and Old Dominion (Friday at 6:30 pm) to town.

🔼 Duuuuuuvalllll. An opening-round ace moved Zoe Duval into first place, and the freshman standout for App State Women's Golf never relinquished the top spot after putting that number 1 on her scorecard.
 
Medaling for the second time in the last three events, Duval set a program record with a 69-69-68—206 score over 54 holes on the par-71 layout and won the Babs Steffens Invitational title with a 7-under total, five shots ahead of second place.

App State placed second in the 16-team field with a 25-over total of 297-290-290—877, 10 shots behind Stetson, the tournament host, and 28 shots ahead of third place.

🔼 Lookin’ For Seven. The App State Baseball squad is back on the road this afternoon as the Mountaineers look for their third 7-1 start in the past four seasons.

Coming off its second straight weekend sweep, App State heads to ETSU to battle the Bucs in a midweek showdown. First pitch in Johnson City, Tenn. is set for 3 p.m.
