🔼 Not In Our House. And the streak continues.

The App State men’s basketball team stretched is winning streak to six and posted a fifth-straight season of 10+ home victories with a hard-fought 65-60 win over Eastern Michigan in the second part of the MAC-SBC Challenge on Saturday at the Holmes Convocation Center.

Alonzo Dodd poured in a game-high 23 points, his sixth 20+point outing of the season. Luke Wilson was dominant in his 23 minutes of action, recording a double-double with 10 points and 10 boards, while Eren Banks was huge of the bench with 10 points, five rebounds and two steals.

🔼 Grand Opening. Offense, defense and pitching were all on display for the App State Softball team, who rolled to a perfect 4-0 weekend at UNCW on its opening weekend of the 2026 season.

Clutch pitching and timely hitting helped the Mountaineers pick up a 5-3 win over Kennesaw State and a 4-3 victory over UNCW on Friday.

The final two games of the weekend, App State flexed their offensive muscles, scoring 26 runs in wins over George Washington and UNCW to close out the unbeaten trip.

🔼 View From The Top. In a rematch of the top two teams in the SoCon last year, App State Wrestling took over sole possession of first place in the conference with a 23-13 home victory over The Citadel on Sunday afternoon.

With competition starting at 184 pounds, App State (8-5, 5-0) jumped out to a 23-3 lead over the Bulldogs (8-7, 4-1) in matchup of the final two undefeated teams in the league.

🔼 Make It Two. The App State Tennis team picked up its second straight win on Saturday, taking down Western Carolina, 6-1.

Naledi Manyube, Allegra Hodson and Ruby Broadbent all picked up singles and doubles victories on the day.
