App State Brew 4/15: It's (Spring) Game Week!

🔼 History Maker. For the second consecutive week, App State Tennis standout No. 9 Savannah Dada-Mascoll was named the Sun Belt Women's Tennis Player of the Week. This marks the fourth time she has garnered the honor this year, the most in a single season in program history, surpassing Sasha Pisareva's three selections in 2020.
Combined with a doubles team of the week award earned alongside Taya Powell, Dada-Mascoll has secured five total weekly conference honors this season.
🔼 Coming Home. Opening up a four-game homestand, the App State softball team is set to play its final midweek contest of the season against N.C. Central tonight at Sywassink/Lloyd Family Stadium.
The Mountaineers will look to stay hot at home, where they are 8-3 so far this spring. First pitch is slated for 6 p.m., and the game will be broadcast on ESPN+.
🔼 Future So Bright. With back-to-back SoCon championships, the App State Wrestling program is reloading for even more titles in the future.
Four incoming signees recently each clinched four straight state championships with Roman Belardo (Georgia), Brady Hand (Virginia), Ty Murray (Georgia) and Bentley Sly (North Carolina) all loading up their mantles with their fourth consecutive trophy.
Two of the best days of the year are now available for registration.
The 2026 App State Football Dinner, Auction and Golf Tournament is set for May 28-29 and you can now secure your spot.
On Thursday, May 28, there will be a dinner and live auction in the Grandview Ballroom on the fourth floor of App State's North End Zone Building. The dinner starts at 7 p.m., following a 6 p.m. cocktail hour at the Hatley Pavilion on the field level of Kidd Brewer Stadium.
On Friday, May 29, the golf tournament will be held at Boone Golf Club with start times of 8:30 a.m. for the morning flight and 1:30 p.m. for the afternoon flight.
With another hit on Tuesday against Western Carolina, Charlie Evans continued his hot streak at the plate.
