🟡 And much more
🔼 Tip Of The Cap. Sure, we love celebrating the on-field successes of our student-athletes, but this past weekend, the Mountaineers celebrated plenty of off-the-field success.
Graduation weekend is always a special time in Boone and this weekend was no different.
Among the new group of App State alums were 101 student-athlete graduates.

🔼 Teeing It Up. At 9:50 this morning, history will be made in Chapel Hill.
App State Women’s Golf freshman Zoe Duval will become the first-ever individual to tee it up at the NCAA Division I Regionals when play gets underway this morning.
Seeded fourth among the six individual qualifiers, Duval will begin the regional at the 10th hole Monday while playing alongside UNC Asheville's Caroline Patterson (the Big South medalist) and Montana State's Norah Seidle (the Big Sky medalist). Duval was one of 19 individuals nationally to receive an at-large regional berth, in addition to 17 automatically qualified conference medalists from schools that didn't earn team berths.
🔼 Ticket Secured. The right arm of Gage Peterson once again delivered a dominant performance for the App State Baseball program.
Peterson and the Mountaineers grabbed a 7-2 win over Louisiana on Saturday, clinching a spot in the Sun Belt Tournament later this month.
The Jonesborough, Tenn. native improved to a perfect 8-0 on the year after tossing seven innings, allowing just two runs and striking out six. Peterson has now struck out 94 batters on the season to move into second place on the single-season strikeout list, trailing only Xander Hamilton's 115 strikeouts in 2023.
With only one series left in the regular season, the Mountaineers need just one win over Georgia State to clinch a top-six seed in the postseason.

In 11 tournament starts this season, how many top-five finishes has Zoe Duval claimed so far in her debut season at App State?
Got a guess?
