🟡 And much more
🔼 The History Maker. App State Women's Golf freshman Zoe Duval made more history on Tuesday, matching the record for the lowest 18-hole score in program history while climbing into a tie for 12th place at the Chapel Hill Regional thanks to a 3-under 67.
With a 36-hole score of even par (73-67—140) in the first NCAA appearance by an App State women's golfer, Duval enters the final round just two shots behind the leader for the one individual berth available to the NCAA Championships in California later this month.
Starting the second round on hole No. 10, Duval totaled seven birdies, including four on her first five holes and then three more in a late four-hole stretch. She had eight tap-in pars after making repeated runs at additional birdies and tied for the third-best round of the day in Chapel Hill.
🔼 Georgia On My Mind. One win.
That’s all that separates the App State Baseball program from earning the right to start next week’s Sun Belt Tournament in the double-elimination portion of the event as a top-six seed. It is also all the Mountaineers need to reach 30+ wins for the third time in the past four seasons.
App State will look to secure that and more as it heads south to Georgia State for the final Sun Belt series of the regular season, set to begin tomorrow night in Atlanta.
First pitch is set for 6 p.m. on Thursday and Friday and 1 p.m. on Saturday.

🔼 Eye On The Prize. Tomorrow, it’s showtime for the App State Track & Field program.
The Mountaineers are set to lace ‘em up at the 2026 Sun Belt Outdoor Track & Field Championships in Mobile, Ala. this week.
Thursday and Friday will mostly consist of prelim action on the track, with the field athletes chasing podium finishes on those days. Saturday will be jam-packed with finals throughout the day.

The Mountaineers enter this weekend with a chance to reach 32 regular season victories, which would be the highest total since when?
