Good morning, App State Fam. Like we always knew, #AppNation is the BEST!

What all do we have stirring in today’s Brew? Check it out below.

🏈 Countdown To Kickoff
🟡 And much more

96 Days Away. The year was 2022. The date was November 12.

With App State looking for a spark, Milan Tucker took a third-quarter kickoff return to the house for 96 yards and a Mountaineer score against Marshall.

Tucker’s kickoff return is tied for the eighth-longest in App State history.

🔼 Battlin’ The Best. Two pillars of App State’s wrestling program had strong weekends against some of the country’s best at the U23 National Tournament in Geneva, Ohio.

Tomas Booker (86 kg) and Kaden Keiser (70 kg) each went 4-0 on Saturday to earn spots in the quarterfinals of the event.

Both wrestlers went on to finish top-12 in their weight class amongst a loaded field.

🔼 Head Of The Class. The success of the App State softball team wasn’t limited to the diamond this spring.

Late last week, a quintet of Mountaineers took home Academic All-District honors from the College Sports Communicators (CSC).

App State’s Grace Barrett, Emilie Ching, KB Bradshaw, Julia Girk and Sophie Moshos were all recognized for their work in the classroom this academic year. It marks the second consecutive year that the Mountaineers have seen five players named Academic All-District.

The 2026 Academic All-District teams recognize the nation's top student-athletes for their combined performances both on the field and in the classroom. To qualify, a student-athlete must be a key contributor who earns at least a 3.50 cumulative grade point average (4.0 scale) and be at least a sophomore both academically and athletically.

During his App State career, how many TDs did Milan Tucker score?
