Good morning, App State Fam. Love seeing our guys working with the local kids!
What all do we have stirring in today’s Brew? Check it out below.
🏟️ Crowded House
⛳️ Punching Her Ticket
⚽️ Still Scoring
🟡 And much more
🔼 Crowded House. For the fifth consecutive year, App State has sold out of football season tickets.
In the last two years, ESPN and The Athletic have both named Kidd Brewer Stadium one of the top 25 stadiums in all of college football. The top five single-season average home attendance marks in App State and Sun Belt Conference history have been those reached by Mountaineer fans at The Rock in 2021, 2022, 2023, 2024 and 2025.
The 2026 home schedule includes visits to The Rock by Maine, Charlotte, Old Dominion, James Madison, Georgia State and ULM. Entering his second season in Boone, head coach Dowell Loggains has constructed a 2026 roster that includes the highest rated signing class in Sun Belt Conference history, All-Sun Belt linebacker Colton Phares, other key returners and impact transfers.
🔼 Punched Her Ticket. The future of App State women’s golf will be on display next month in Durham.
On Monday, incoming freshman Addison Douglass punched her ticket to next month’s U.S. Girls’ Junior Championship.
🔼 Still Scoring. Coming off a record-setting career for the App State soccer program, Mountaineer alum Izzi Wood is still finding the back of the net.
This past weekend, Wood scored two goals for The Gap FC in Brisbane, Australia.
Wood is currently leading the league in scoring with 14 goals on the season.

Throughout the summer, we will be counting down the days
to the return of App State Football this fall. The Mountaineers will
host Maine on September 5 at 3:30 p.m.
73 Days Away. Sometimes, you gotta show a little love to the specialists.
For 14 seasons, Julian Rauch was atop the record books for App State Football. During his four years with the Mountaineers, he racked up 37️⃣3️⃣ career points, which were an all-time program record at the time of his graduation.
A three-time national champion at App State, he will be forever remembered for his 24-yard field goal with 26 seconds left in a historic 34-32 win over No. 5 Michigan in the 2007 season opener.
During his time with the Mountaineers, Rauch was a two-time All-American, two-time All-Southern Conference selection and was inducted into the App State Athletics Hall of Fame in 2016.

As we mentioned, Izzi Wood finished a record-setting career with the Mountaineers this past fall.
Wood stands as the program’s all-time career goals leader with how many?
Got a guess?
