Throughout the summer, we will be counting down the days
to the return of App State Football this fall. The Mountaineers will
host Maine on September 5 at 3:30 p.m.

4️⃣0️⃣ Days Away. The countdown has reached 40 days!

A three-time All-Sun Belt honoree, including two on the First Team, Nick Hampton put together quite a career for the Mountaineers.

The Anderson, S.C., native finished his career with 4️⃣0️⃣ tackles for a loss, which is good for the 11th-highest total in program history. He also ranks fourth in career sacks with 26.5, while piling up 175 career tackles and six forced fumbles.

During his junior season (2021), he was one of only five players nationally in 2021 with more than 10 sacks, 15 tackles for loss and 65 tackles.

🔼 Country Roads. For the first time ever, the App State men’s basketball squad will hit the court to take on Northwestern.

Late last week, the Mountaineers announced a neutral side matchup with the Wildcats as part of the 2026 Greenbrier Tip-Off event on November 14th.

Time and TV delegation will be announced at a later date.

🔼 Heading Across The Pond. App State alum Adrian Delph will have a new address for this upcoming season after signing on to join the Sheffield Sharks out of the United Kingdom.

Last season, Delph was part of the Luxembourg LBBL Champion BBC Etzella team, where he averaged 20.2 points, 7 rebounds and 3.2 assists. Adrian claimed a host of personal honours in Luxembourg last season, as he was named the Guard of the Year, Finals MVP and First Team All-League in the LBBL.
