Throughout the summer, we will be counting down the days
to the return of App State Football this fall. The Mountaineers will
host Maine on September 5 at 3:30 p.m.

3️⃣6️⃣ Days Away. The countdown has reached 36 days!

Last season, the App State offense scored 3️⃣6️⃣ TDs en route to 314 total points in 2025.

The Mountaineers scored 23 passing TDs, 12 rushing and one punt return for a TD.

App State’s single-season record for TDs in a season was set by the 2007 squad, who scored 53 TDs, en route to a third straight National Championship.

🔼 Welcome To The Fam. App State Women's Basketball head coach Alaura Sharp announced the addition of seven newcomers to the Mountaineers' roster.

"We are proud and excited to announce our newcomer class. They align with the core values of our program. They will add depth, talent and maturity to our team. I am excited to see where this team can go," said Sharp.

The incoming class features a dynamic mix of impactful transfers and highly-decorated high school standouts.

🔼 Summer Session. For two Mountaineers, their training hasn’t just been on the field this summer.

App State Football standouts Colton Phares and Cayden Sweatt spent time this summer as interns with David E. Looper & Company, a general contracting company based in Hickory, N.C. that is working to construct the new Sofield Family Indoor Practice Facility.

🔼 Clear Your Calendars. App State fans, you won’t want to miss this one.

The Mountaineers have announced its annual App State Basketball Tip-Off Dinner is set for Wednesday, Oct. 21st.

This year’s keynote speaker will be Chris Spatola, an Army veteran, former college basketball player and coach, and a current ESPN basketball analyst.

Keep your eye out for registration to open soon!

🔼 Get Geared Up. In conjunction with next month’s FanFest, App State Athletics will host a Surplus Sale on August 15 inside Kidd Brewer Stadium.

The sale will run from 3:30-5 p.m., or while supplies last and will be located on the West Concourse of Kidd Brewer Stadium. Items on sale will include team-issued uniforms and equipment across all varsity App State sports, Nike apparel, fan gear, special memorabilia and more. Transactions will be by credit card only (American Express will not be taken). Shoe purchases will be limited to five pairs per customer.
