⚽️ Back At It
👀 Sneak Peek
🏈 Countin’ Down: 17 Days
🟡 And much more

Throughout the summer, we will be counting down the days
to the return of App State Football this fall. The Mountaineers will
host Maine on September 5 at 3:30 p.m.

1️⃣7️⃣ Days Away. The clock is ticking down. We are just 17 days away from kickoff!
It was a beautiful Saturday afternoon in 2006 when App State Football stepped onto the field at Kidd Brewer Stadium and battled its way to a 21-10 victory over JMU.
That win kicked off a streak that still lives in the Mountaineer record books as App State would win its next 1️⃣7️⃣ consecutive games, including the above seen overtime thriller at Georgia Southern, the 2006 National Championship and the first three games of the following season for the longest overall win streak in program history.
During the streak, App State totaled 634 points (an average of 37.3 ppg), while limiting its opponents to just 260 (average of 15.3 ppg).
🔼 Back At It. After a opening weekend split, App State Soccer is back in action tomorrow night with a third straight in-state opponent.
The Mountaineers will take the field to battle Western Carolina tomorrow night at 6 pm at the Ted Mackorell Soccer Complex. The first 150 fans in attendance will receive an App State vuvuzela.
Sophomore Libby Bermingham was the leader in the Mountaineers’ most recent victory, a 3-1 win at Campbell on Sunday, scoring two of App State’s three goals.

🔼 Sneak Peek. Coming off the program’s first-ever top-20 national ranking, excitement and expectations are once again high for App State Field Hockey.
This Saturday, the Mountaineers will give home fans a bit of a sneak peek of what’s to come as Liberty, which finished #6 in the country last year, rolls into town for an exhibition match at 2 pm.
Last year, App State posted 14 wins, tied for the most in program history.

🔼 Ready For More. After a career year with the Chicago Bears last season, App State alum D’Marco Jackson is ready for more this season in the Windy City.
In March, Jackson signed a new two-year contract to remain with the Bears after tripling his career-high in tackles with 43, as well as grabbing his first INT and recording his first sack last season.
The Mountaineer standout will be entering his fourth season in the NFL this fall.

Football training camp has kicked into high gear and the guys are joined by Ahmad "Ammo" Robinson to discuss the origin of one of the all-time great nicknames and his role as one of this year's team captains.
Plus, Bret and Adam cycle through some of the great nicknames in the history of App State athletics.

As a freshman last season with App State, who did LIbby Bermingham score her first collegiate goal against?
Got a guess?
