Good Morning, App State Fam. Are there any views better than this? We think not.

What else do we have stirring? Check it out below!

⚽️ Party Like It’s 1999
🏈 Talkin’ Ball
🏐 Double Trouble
🟡 And much more!

🔼 Party Like It’s 1999. For the first time since 1999, the App State Soccer program is 3-0.

That comes after a hard-fought 2-0 victory over in-state rival Davidson on Thursday night in Boone. Ellie Garrison continued her hot start to the beginning of the year by scoring in her third straight game and Kylie Switalski added a big insurance goal in the second half to lead the offensive attack.

The Mountaineers have now posted back-to-back shutouts and have yet to trail in a game this season.

🔼 Talkin’ Ball. Presented by UNC Health Blue Ridge, App State's weekly Mountaineer Talk radio show will make its 2025-26 return Aug. 27, in advance of the Aug. 29 football opener against Charlotte in the Duke's Mayo Classic at Bank of America Stadium. For the third consecutive season, the show will be hosted live at Rivers Street Ale House in Boone.

New this fall, Mountaineer Talk shows will air on Wednesday nights from 6-7 p.m. Host Adam Witten will be joined weekly by first-year head coach Dowell Loggains and App State football student-athletes.

🔼 Double Trouble. The dynamic duo is back for one more ride and is already earning preseason praise.

In 2024, Heidemann and Winterhoff helped the Mountaineers win the SBC East Division title and advance to the NIVC postseason tournament for the first time since the 2018 campaign.

7️⃣ days from kickoff…

Jordan Favors is back for one more ride with the Mountaineers.

An All-Sun Belt performer in 2023, Favors returns after playing in 34 games over the past three seasons, including 16 starts over his career in Boone.

In those games, he’s totaled 79 tackles, five INTs, 17 pass breakups and 3.5 tackles for loss.

All 16 of Favors’ starts have come at the strong safety spot.

Redshirt freshman goalkeeper Anna Claire Jacobi has helped lead the App State Soccer squad to back-to-back shutouts in its 3-0 start to the 2025 season.

How many saves has she tallied in the first three games this fall?
