On Tuesday, App State Men's Basketball announced the complete 2025-26 schedule on Tuesday. App State's schedule will feature 30 games, with 14 being played at the Holmes Convocation Center.

App State is 25-4 in Boone since the start of the 2023-24 season and has won at least 10 games at home in four consecutive seasons. Since head coach Dustin Kerns took over the program in 2019, App State is 64-25 at home.

🔼 Springin’ Into Action. When opportunity knocks, you take of advantage of it.

That’s exactly what former App State Baseball standout Jeffrey Springs has done this season for the Athletics. In his eighth MLB season, Springs has put together career bests in wins (10) and innings pitched (145.1).

With just over five weeks left in the regular season, he is on pace to surpass career highs in strikeouts and games started. His next scheduled start is set for Friday night against the Rangers.

🔼 Helping Hands. For much of his career, it’s been the feet of App State senior Tucker Sangster that have carried him across the finish line for the Mountaineer cross country squad. But this week, it was Sangster’s helping hands that were honored.

On Monday, the senior was named to the inaugural All-Sun Belt Community Service Team. The program aims to highlight student-athletes who demonstrate a commitment to community service. 

Last year, the Odenton, Md., native logged 60 hours of service, dividing his time and efforts to various impactful avenues. Sangster volunteered with disaster relief efforts in the aftermath of Hurricane Helene in partnership with NASCAR. In the winter, he assisted with Operation Christmas Child, which involves assembling shoe boxes with gifts for children in need. Additionally, Sangster has helped with canned food drives and freshman move-in efforts.

🔼 Called To The Hall. It was a weekend she’ll never forget as App State Women’s Basketball assistant coach & recruiting coordinator Brooklyn Taylor was honored with an induction into the Greenville High School (Pa.) Athletics Hall of Fame. Taylor was one of the school’s most prolific scorers in their basketball program’s history, finishing with 1,560 points and twice being named regional MVP.

With Jeffrey Springs reaching 10 wins over the weekend, he became the first former App State hurler to reach 10+ wins in a single MLB season since 1965.
