🔼 GAME DAY. The day has finally arrived!

Tonight, the Mountaineers take the field at Bank of America Stadium to kick off the Coach Loggains era against the 49ers of Charlotte.

A longtime NFL coordinator who was a college assistant from 2021-24, Loggains will be on the sidelines as a head coach for the first time with a team that has 55 newcomers, including 37 transfers.

🔼 The Hall Call. It’s a call that these Mountaineers will never forget.

This week, App State’s Former Athletes Association unveiled the 2025 App State Athletics Hall of Fame class.
 
In alphabetical order, the 2025 inductees are Ryan Arrowood (Baseball — 2008-12), Pete Camelo (Baseball/Football — 1978-1982), Dr. Sabrina Hill-Johnson (Women's Track & Field/Volleyball — 1989-92), Dexter Jackson (Football/Men's Track & Field — 2004-07) and DJ Smith (Football — 2007-10).

This is the 50th class in the history of the App State Athletics Hall of Fame. The group will be recognized with an on-field ceremony during the Oct. 18 home football game against Coastal Carolina.

🔼 Let’s Get It Going. Along with the football program tonight, App State’s fall schedule is filling up quickly.

Up first this morning are the cross country squads taking on the Covered Bridge Open in Boone.

The field hockey team is up next at 4 pm when it hits the field at Towson, followed 30 minutes later when the volleyball squad takes the court in Charleston, S.C., to battle Mercer at the College of Charleston Classic.

🔼 Poll Position. In just over a month, the App State tennis programs will hit the courts.

Two Mountaineers will do so with national rankings next to their names as senior Savannah Dada-Mascoll and junior Naledi Manyube were both recognized in the ITA Preseason Singles and Doubles rankings.

Dada-Mascoll, who is 40-4 over the past two seasons, enters the fall at #106 in singles, while the duo is ranked #52 in doubles.

Since transitioning to FBS in 2014, App State ranks 11th nationally and No. 2 among G6 programs in total wins.
