🔼 Packed House. For the 17th time in the past 19 App State home games The Rock will have a sold out crowd for Saturday’s home game against Charlotte.
This weekend’s Black Saturday (Under The Lights) game at Kidd Brewer Stadium is set to kickoff at 6 p.m.
Off to a 2-0 start to the 2026 season, the Mountaineers are looking to reach 3-0 for the first time since 2019, when App State finished with a 13-1 record.

This week, we go behind-the-scenes in the Mountaineers’ preparation for the upcoming 2026-27 season as transfer guard Torin Rogers goes Mic’d Up in practice.
🔼 Helping Hands. App State junior distance runner Katie Johnson is doing work both on and off the course.
This week, Johnson was named to the All-Sun Belt Community Service Team. The program aims to highlight student-athletes who demonstrate a commitment to community service.
The Weaverville native logged a total of 48 community service hours in 2025-26. Johnson volunteered with Operation Christmas Child, multiple Hunger Health and Coalition food drives, and helped provide Hurricane Helene relief through the App State Student-Athletes program.
🔼 Power Pair. App State Volleyball juniors MeMe Davis and Raegan Richardson have been named the Sun Belt Defensive Player of the Week and Setter of the Week, respectively.
The duo helped lead the Mountaineers through a four-match week, playing all 16 sets and guiding App State to three victories. From the back row to the setter position, Davis and Richardson were at the center of App State's success throughout the week.
The honors mark the first time App State Volleyball has earned Sun Belt Player of the Week recognition since 2024, when Addison Heidemann earned her second Setter of the Week honor of the season after helping the Mountaineers clinch the Sun Belt East Division.
🔼 Raising The Bar. App State Women's Golf established new team and individual records relative to par as the Mountaineers placed sixth among 13 teams at the Pirate Collegiate Classic this week.
App State finished with a 10-over team total of 289-290-295—874 on the par-72 layout at Greenville Country Club, topping the previous program record (relative to par) of 12 over for a 54-hole event.
Zoe Duval's even-par total of 72-71-73—216 in Greenville put her in a tie for 18th place to lead the Mountaineers this week, while freshman Addison Douglass tied for 24th place at 3-over (67-72-80—219).
