🔼 Home Cookin’. No better way to spend your weekend than rooting on the Mountaineers.

There’s plenty of opportunities to do just that this weekend with five home events on the docket beginning this afternoon when the field hockey squad hosts Ohio at 3 p.m. Later this evening, the volleyball team takes on in-state foe Duke in a 6 p.m. showdown.

On Sunday, three programs are in action beginning again with the field hockey team, this time welcoming Vermont to town for an 11 a.m. contest. Women’s Soccer hosts its Sun Belt home opener when it battles Louisiana at 1 p.m. Rounding out the weekend action is the volleyball team, which squares off with another in-state foe, Davidson, at 2 p.m.

🔼 Running Man. Add another line to the resume of App State sophomore Thomas Wlazlowski.

Wlazlowski was the first Mountaineer to cross the finish line at the Virginia Invitational, rounding out the top 10 with a time of 24:58.1. He helped the men's team to a third-place finish with 88 points in the team standings. He was 13 seconds shy of his 8K personal best of 24:45.6

App State Football standout Izayah Cummings currently leads all Sun Belt tight ends with 16 catches so far in 2025.

Where does that put him nationally among FBS tight ends?

Got a guess?
