What all do we have stirring in today’s Brew? Check it out below!
🏈 See You At The Rock
👏 A Pair To Praise
🟡 And much more!

🔼 Home Sweet Home. Got your tailgate menus ready? Got the outfit laid out?
We’re just over 24 hours away from the return of the Mountaineers at The Rock!
With kickoff set for 3:30 pm, tomorrow’s home opener is SOLD OUT, but can be seen on ESPN+.
The Mountaineers are looking to start 2-0 for the first time since 2019.
🔼 A Pair To Praise. While most of the country was kicking back and enjoying a long Labor Day weekend, the Mountaineers got after it and their hard work was recognized.
Along with AJ Swann’s awards earlier this week, App State Field Hockey’s Lise Boekaar and App State Cross Country’s Breanna Budzinski both earned weekly conference accolades for their performances.
Boekaar was dominant in the Mountaineers’ two wins away from home against Towson and Georgetown to earn the MAC Offensive Player of the Week honor, while Budzinski was named Sun Belt Runner of the Week after clocking a personal best at the Covered Bridge Open to lead App State to a third-place finish against a loaded field.

🔼 Link It Up. A new era begins this weekend for the App State Men’s Golf program as the Mountaineers are set to make their debut under new head coach John Michael Cole.
Earlier this week, Cole, an App State alum, unveiled the full slate of tournaments for the Mountaineers for the 2025-26 season.

On the eve of the 2025 football home opener, we visit with director of athletics Doug Gillin to discuss what fans can expect from an experience perspective when they arrive on campus on Saturday.
Plus, we dive into some of the early successes of our fall sports teams. Also, Bret chats with LB Kyle Arnholt about the team's impressive performance in week one and the excitement of being back at The Rock.

Since 2003, what is App State’s home record at The Rock? (span of 146 games)
