🔼 East Bound & Downn. App State Football takes its first road trip of the 2026 season Saturday, heading to Greenville for an in-state matchup with East Carolina.
The Mountaineers enter with plenty of momentum after an impressive 55-3 victory over Maine in the season opener, piling up 647 yards of offense, while allowing just 250.
Quarterback Malachi Singleton will look to build on a terrific first collegiate start after completing 22 of 24 passes for 291 yards, three touchdowns and no interceptions. App State also showed plenty of balance with 299 rushing yards, while the defense forced two interceptions and held Maine to just 52 yards on the ground.

🔼 Back At It. For the first time in September, App State Field Hockey is at home this evening when Queens University rolls into town for a midweek matchup.
The Mountaineers are looking to bounce back after its first loss of the season this past weekend and will do so at a place where they have won 15 of their past 20 matchups.
Game time against the Royals is set for 6 p.m.
🔼 Road Dub. Junior Bella Hutchens continued her strong start to the 2026 season with a 19-kill performance to lead App State Volleyball to a 3-1 road victory over in-state foe, Elon, on Tuesday night.
Raegan Richardson dished 32 assists and MeMe Davis racked up 25 digs to help secure the victory and give App State momentum headed into this week’s Mountaineer Classic at Holmes Convocation Center.
🔼 Lauding Libby. With two first-half goals in App State Soccer’s tie at Miami last week, Libby Bermingham not only helped extend the team’s unbeaten streak to six, but also secured Sun Belt Offensive Player of the Week accolades.
Bermingham and the Mountaineers will close out non-conference play on Thursday at ETSU at 6 p.m. before opening their Sun Belt slate at home against Georgia State on Friday, Sept. 18 at 6 p.m.
